Microcosm is a multi-species physarum agent simulation that I created to present at San Francisco Design Week 2022. Astro Studios invited me to do a presentation and live demonstration of this system at their SFDW open house.
Although I have created numerous variations on the physarum system originally pioneered by Jeff Jones, Microcosm is the first version to feature a GUI, the first to allow for drawing to the canvas to influence the agent behavior, and the first to have audio reactivity.
