The Lacuna Knife takes inspiration from bone structures, layering a 3D-printed housing with an over-molded rubberized grip, to create a form that feels familiar and alien at the same time. Aside from the blade and blade carrier, the knife is fully procedural. A Houdini system can be used to generate infinite handle and grip variations. This project was created for the Render Weekly utility knife challenge.
